Other Ways to Play
Collaborative
Instead of competing for each card, players can work together to find solutions. Simply choose easy, medium, hard, or monstrously hard mode, then see how many cards you can get through as a team!
Around the World
Similar to the Collaborative version, players work together to find solutions to all difficulty levels on a given card before moving on. Start by finding the easy solution, then medium, then hard, then monstrously hard.
Minute to Win It
Set a 1-minute timer (or longer). Players use pencil and paper to write down as many equations as they can find. When time runs out, players share their answers and earn points for correct solutions.
Solo
Entertain your brain by making your way through the Adsumudi deck on your own or by playing endlessly online with additional free cards! Remember, all cards also have helpful hints available online if you get stuck on a tricky one.

Title: Fun math game
Review: My 5th and 6th graders love playing this game when we do Math Stations. I love that it works on multiple levels, with kids using 2, 3 or 4 digits to find the target number. It’s sturdy and colorful, too.

Title: Great for all ages
Review: We use a couple of these Adsumudi cards as a homeschool math warm up. It’s a fun way to start math and gets everyone’s brains ‘math ready’. I like how the same deck can be used by my early elementary student as well as my middle school student. Very versatile.

Title: Perfect Homeschool Math Fun
Review: We purchased this game to add an element of fun to our homeschool curriculum. This game is so versatile and adapts well to kids of almost any age range and ability level. The cards are sorted into three different ability levels and the game can be played using as little as 2 numbers to arrive at the answer. As kids get more comfortable with numbers you can increase the challenge. This is a great way to practice mental math and keep learning fun!

Title: Easy to use and easy to differentiate for any age!
Review: I’m a TAG (talented and gifted) teacher, and I teach all levels of school children.I love that each card has a star rating for difficulty. This allows me to arrange them for the student I’m working with. I have played this with my kindergarten students and my middle school students – it works for all ages. It can be differentiated for many ages and levels of ability. Every time you play, it will be a little different! For my kindergarteners, I put all of the one star cards together and have them do 2-step equations (like 2 + 3 = 5). I’ve had them take turns, but they could also write their ideas on a white board and then share. For my middle school students, I put them in a stack, and they have to do at least 3-step equations (like 13 – 10 + 2 = 5). There are even more numbers, so we can make it harder than that. They then compete with time – who can get the equation first. Of course, you could take turns. The cards are double-sided and sturdy. The design is appealing to all ages. The numbers are easy to read and understand. I bought a set for my middle school math teacher friend. I do recommend this game!

Review: I already knew I was going to love this game because I love math games like Krypto and Proof. Definitely a good game to keep your basic math skills sharp and excercises your problem solving skills in more ways than one. You can play it solo or with a group of people and it’s always interesting to see how others solve the same problem using a different equation. It’s also great for kids. My daughter is 5 and loves games and doesn’t realize she’s building her basic addition and subtraction skills by playing this because she just likes playing games ;). I love the colorful and unique design of the cards. I just wish the cards were coated or laminated to protect them from wear. So you don’t want to eat or drink near these cards or get them anywhere near to moisture for fear or damage to them. Unfortunately the box for the game came damaged because it was only packed in a lightly padded shipping bag (see photos). I highly suggest the shippers opt for a small box with bubble wrap or crushed newspaper to protect the box from damage during shipping so the game doesn’t get crushed. Other than that, this was a good buy for $25 CAD.
