Fun for all ages

The idea of yielding the number 10 in multiple ways is a great way to introduce number concepts. Kindergarteners can practice number identification and early arithmetic concepts, older students can memorize fact families and help them add and subtract abilities. Cute, fun, and adaptable to different ages and levels.

Learn Many Math Facts Through Play: A fun way to learn many math facts and reinforce your students’ skill of combinations of 10. Colorful pictures of the sea animals are much more fun for kids to play with and keep their attention the whole time. Strengthen number sense and teach addition and subtraction with this 10-based game.
Easy to Teach and Fun to Play: Sea-themed game encourages kids to “catch” combinations of 10! Players take turns flipping cards to show numbers, any player who finds two or more cards can make 10 can call out “I make 10!” (like 2 + 8, or 5 + 3 + 2), and keep those cards. Collect the most sets of 10s to win! Beware of the shark cards, pull one and you have to put all your pieces back!
Make 10 and More: The object of the game is to make 10, you can also make up your version to practice what you’re learning. Make it more challenging for older students, and have them try and get the sum of 20, or teach number sequencing to your preschooler. The possibilities are endless. This is a terrific addition to our hands-on math games and activities!
A Great Catch: This math Game features 90 durable cardboard number cards and 10 shark cards, kid-friendly illustrations of sea creatures on the reverse side, all packed in a storage box that helps you take them anywhere. Instructions included. Made of high-quality cardboard, which is more durable and easy to grip for the little hands of children.
Wonderful Math Games: Fun quick game for multiple ages and can be adapted as a child advances. You have many reasons to choose this educational game as a birthday or Christmas surprise for your little kids or take it to travel or have a road trip. It is a perfect introduction to playing games with others and promotes social skills.

Title: First graders enjoyed this game
Review: My first grade class enjoyed playing this make 10 game as an early finisher choice. My only suggestion is to make the box slightly larger as the could not easily close and lock the lid. I switched it to my own container for that purpose.

Title: My son loves this game!
Review: I recently started homeschooling my six-year-old ADHD son, so it can be tricky to get him to sit long enough to learn a lesson. I have to get really creative to teach him in an engaging way. He initially didn’t want to play because he assumed it was a learning game. However, once I set up the pieces, he got excited and wanted to play. The game was simple enough for him to catch on right away, and he thought it was hilarious any time I got one of the shark cards. You can really play this so many different ways and with a variety of ages. He’s in first grade and he wanted to keep playing… after three games I called in dad to take over a few rounds.

Title: Quick and easy way to practice basic math
Review: This game is a fun and easy way to practice combinations that add up to 10 and solidify mental math skills. This game helps to improve my child’s processing speed. I wish that you could do other combinations, not just 10. My only wish is that the images of the sea animals were more varied and realistic so we could practice naming species along with the number combinations.

Title: Fun game for the family
Review: We got this game for our 3 kids (9-3yo). They love to sit around and play in different ways. For the youngest, we match the fish on the one side of the card and teach her the numbers on the back (number recognition). The middle likes to add to ten and see if she got any matches with the fish on the other side. My eldest likes to use it as a multiplication game. Really basic but has kept them entertained!

Title: Fun game to help with math facts!
Review: I ordered this for my kindergartener to make math fun and help him learn all the ways to make 10. It’s seriously a fun game. We enjoy playing it together. I have to give a few cards to baby sister to play too because she wants to be included! Great for homeschooling!

Title: My kids really love this
Review: This math game is a hit for our kids! Our youngest, age 4, matches fish for number recognition, the eldest, age 7, adds to ten and uses it for simple multiplication. It’s simple yet keeps them entertained and engaged. It’s not just a game; it’s a fun way to sneak in extra math problems. The animal characters make learning enjoyable and enhance basic math skills. Even with its compact size, it’s a great travel companion. The small pieces might be a downside for some, but overall, it’s a valuable addition for us and works to enhance lessons they’re taught in the classroom.
