Title: Fun, Entertraining, Engaging and Educational!
Review: Bought this for my grandson’s (in first grade) birthday. A few weeks before we sat together in a restaurant doing the math puzzle on the place mat. This game lets us recreate that game in numerous variations. His parents like it because it can grow with him as his skill level grows. From simple math to division! It is nice to see children enjoying a game that is really quite educational! I definitely recommend it!

Title: Fun and educational.
Review: We modified the rules a bit to make the game go faster and easier. So, we take only number tiles and the operation tiles and equal signs are in a pile to take as needed. That makes it easier to construct equations and speeds up the game. It’s fun for adults too as we no longer use arithmetic skills much.

Review: Got this game for my kids so we could have fun playing a game together as a family and do some learning on the side. Like Scrabble, the game is different every time so there is a ton of replay value. The tiles and game are very nice and well made, very high quality. Best of all my kids love it!

Title: This is a Great concept and well made game but needs a few tweaks.
Review: I saw this and immediately thought it was a genius idea for a learning game. It comes in a nice wooden box with well made, colorful wooden tiles. When the kids and I first started playing this we followed the rules exactly. The problem was that even after thoroughly mixing the pile of draw tiles players were ending up with too many duplicates to make anything other than the simplest equations if they could even make one. The first two games went poorly, slowly, and were causing frustration among all parties so I decided to modify the rules. The way we ended up playing was to make three piles with only two being face down draw piles. One pile was strictly the equality symbols and each player took one tile. One pile face down with all the numbers that they drew six tiles from. One pile face down with the operation symbols that they drew three tiles from. So each player started with ten tiles and at the end of their turn they would replace their missing tiles with tiles from the appropriate piles. After that things went much better and made the game a lot faster and more enjoyable. The picture with only four equations is from one of the first games and the picture with more and larger equations was after the modification. As I said I think this game is a wonderful idea for a fun way to learn but in my opinion it needs tweaked. Maybe more tiles in the game and a larger number of tiles in hand? Maybe some blank tiles that could be whatever symbol or number?I do recommend this game for elementary school age kids, but if you’re having trouble with game play I would suggest modifying the rules as you see fit.

Title: Engaging Math Game!
Review: Exceptionally crafted and built to last. I bought it for my mother’s class, and I’ve received feedback that her students are grasping the concepts and learning a lot from it. It’s akin to Scrabble but designed for solving math equations.
