Title: Excellent puzzle game
Review: I own several IQ Games and this is possibly my favorite one. Using digits 0-9 you have to arrange them to fit in the puzzle. There are 120 puzzles to solve and they get progressively harder. It is great for road trips or playing when you have a few minutes at home. The puzzle is enjoyable for kids about 7 years and up. As an adult I like it just as much, if not more, than the kids. It is well made and sturdy. I highly recommend it if you like puzzles that make you think a little bit.

Title: Another Great Packing Puzzle in the IQ Pocket Series
Review: To my knowledge this is the 12th puzzle in this “series” (IQ Puzzlers in the “pocket” format) to be released in the U.S. by SmartGames. I own all of them and have spent several hours in each one of them. I love having one at my desk and just solving a puzzle or two as a take a break between tasks. Honestly, I stick with most of the “Junior” level challenges, maybe doing a few in “Expert” or “Master” occasionally. I just put a little dot with a pen by solved puzzles in the booklet, and I enjoy working my way through them. Each of these IQ puzzles are “packing problems” (try to fit all of the pieces in a designated space following the rules.) Each one has some has some little element or “twist” differentiating it from a task of simply fitting pieces on the board. In the case of IQ Digits, all the pieces are shaped like digital numerals 0-9. Many of the puzzles will give you some of the pieces, but will also start telling you the sum of some of the empty (“in-between”) spaces if you were to add up all of the adjacent numerals. When you read through the directions, you’ll also learn that the white lines surrounding the “sum” will indicate how many edges from a single piece contribute to that sum.It takes just a minute to “get it”. It’s a pretty simple rule set. The challenges are great, and they increase in difficultly smoothly through the 120 challenges. I typically start on the early “Junior” level challenges and work my way up until they get a bit too demanding on my brain 🙂 Even though I rarely do all 120 levels of any given puzzle, I do MANY in each, and get more than my money’s worth out of each one. I’ll put one away for several months and pull it out again and redo the puzzles. This and “IQ-Circuit” were both released this year, and both are wonderful additions to the series. IQ-Digits is a larger size than all the rest. This bugged me just a tiny bit 🙂 But honestly they couldn’t have reasonably fit it in the same size, and I’m very happy they released it! All in all, this is just a wonderful puzzle, if you enjoy solving these types of packing problems.

Title: I love this little brain teaser.
Review: This is a great puzzle game. It can be challenging at times especially when starting out…getting your gray matter to recognize the shapes. There are 120 challenges and they get progressively harder. But, for me, the challenge varied a lot in all the difficulty levels. My eyes would just see the solutions in some and I would solve it in seconds. But others would take some time. I was able to get through all of the puzzles without using the solutions printed in the back of the manual, except #120. I tried for a long time and finally had to hang my head and cheat.I really enjoyed playing the puzzle and gave me some time away from screens. It’s a good puzzle toy.

Title: Disastrous Digits
Review: I was excited to play this until I read the instructions. Seriously… it’s a math and logic game that contradicts itself at times and does not work in true logic. These smart games always have you fill all the spaces with the pieces. This one does with the added confusion of always having two random sides open. How do you know if you’re doing it right? You also have to do math to enter in pieces… but only certain ones on certain boards. Again, how do you know you’re doing it right? Some of the clues are so vague it makes you feel completely lost. This game was more frustrating than anything. Stick with Kanoodle type boards. They make sense. This one doesn’t.
