Title: Perfect for Little Hands!
Review: I love this wooden ten frame set! The counter colors are bright and fun to manipulate. With six sets you have enough for a small group. The ten frame and counters may seem small, but they are perfect for little hands. I also love that the counters are not your traditional circle shape. The stars (placing them in the ten frame board) give an added benefit of fine motor skills to the cognitive piece.

Review: I don’t know that I needed all these boards to put the stars in, but everything is good quality.I like all the different game options to make learning feel more fun and you aren’t just doing the same game over and over again. With all these accessories you could probably even make up your own games if you are creative. It also give a really great visual for early math skills

Title: Fantastic basic math learning toy
Review: We have our son at a progressive nature-based school for kindergarten, and they don’t start working on hard academics until 1st grade. He approached me a couple weeks ago telling me he felt like he “wasn’t learning anything” and was wondering when he’d learn math.Who am I to hinder my child’s quest for ultimate knowledge? I picked this up as a starting point and he seems to really like it. It’s tactile and helps him understand basic numbers, and hopefully we should have him well prepped for a math development program by next year.

Review: This is a great, well-made math game. The wood manipulatives are all nicely sized for little hands and sturdy. It comes with 4 markers and 8 wooden dice (2 with plus and minuses and 6 numbered). I do wish the paperboard stars with numbers (that you lay down as part of the game and then draw them) were more substantial, but that’s a relatively small thing and does not detract from a complete and well made set.

Review: This SYNARRY Wooden Ten-Frame Set Math and Mentissori kit makes a good educational tool for kids older than five years. I liked the game approach for teaching math and its visual representation using coloured stars. My only take is that it tries to be the “jack of all trades” by including the empty whiteboard-like cards and the markers, and that’s not a good approach. Also, the large umber of small pieces makes it very easy to lose some, which unfortunately happened in my case.
